Essential oils and their blends can be applied in various ways. Below are the recommended methods for their effective use:

Topical Application

Facial Use: For the face, it is advised to use a 1% dilution of essential oil in 99% carrier oil. This equates to 2 drops of essential oil per 10 ml of carrier oil.

Body Use: For the body, a 3% dilution of essential oil in 97% carrier oil is recommended, which corresponds to 6 drops of essential oil per 10 ml of carrier oil.

Application Methods

Diffuser: It is suggested to use diffusers that do not generate heat, such as the ALQVIMIA Flask, as heat can alter the properties of essential oils. The maximum recommended dose is 10 drops of the essential oil blend per diffuser.

Bath: For bathing, dilute between 10 and 15 drops of the essential oil blend in a small amount of a suitable medium, such as milk (vegetable or animal), yogurt, honey, salt, or bath gel. Essential oils are not water-soluble, so a carrier is needed for proper dispersion in the bathwater.

Steam Inhalation: Add a maximum of 5 drops of the essential oil blend to a container with 1-2 liters of hot water. Cover your head and the container with a towel to retain the steam, and inhale the resulting vapor.

Sauna: Dilute up to 2 drops of the essential oil blend per 500 ml of water used in the sauna.

Room Spray: For ambient use, it is recommended to use Alqvimia’s Anti-Stress Cologne Water.
